AN ATTRACTIVE FULLY ENGRAVED OVAL FRENCH CARRIAGE CLOCK. CIRCA 1880.

A very attractive engraved oval carriage clock. The case profusely foliat engraved with nicely shaped handle. The round enamel dial is contained within a gilded engraved mask.

The eight day striking movement, striking the hours on a bell mounted on the backplate. The lever escapement platform is silvered with temperature compensated balance wheel.
