E. White is noted as working from Cockspur Street from about 1860 through to the beginning of the 20th century. He was a fine maker and one of his main claims to fame was that he was formerly the foreman of Dent’s workshop and was no doubt responsible for many of Dent’s clocks before he went off by himself. The quality of workmanship that we have seen in clocks by him is always excellent.
