31491C.C A very attractive early one piece carriage clock in a case style very reminiscent of those produced by Paul Garnier. The case has glass panels to the top, front and sides and a solid shuttered rear door with a slide to cover the winding holes. The case has a repeating lever mounted on the top. |

The white enamel dial signed for the makers, ‘Le Roy & Fils Hgers Du Roi à Paris,’ has Breguet style moon hands and Roman numerals. The eight day quarter striking or petite sonnerie movement strikes the quarters on two bells mounted on the backplate and has a nicely produced lever escapement.
The clock stands some 5.5" (14 cms.) high to the base of the handle.
