An attractive inverted bell top bracket clock. The case is surmounted by a well cast brass carrying handle. It then goes through a concave moulded top part into a brass moulding and thus into the convex moulding of the bell top.

The case has the typical Ellicott styled round glass front door with a nicely cast bezel and brass edging which, when opened, reveals the square brass silvered dial underneath. The sound frets are of fish scale style with silk backing and there is a glazed rear door through which the backplate of the movement can be viewed. All of the veneers on the case are well chosen flames.
