An unusual and extremely attractive strut clock. The main body of the clock, which is 4″ (10 cm) square, is made of white onyx with an attractive blue lapis lazuli border. The extremely attractive dial has four budgerigars perched on floral branches enclosed within the gilded chapter ring with Arabic numerals and a geometric patterned outer bezel. The hands are of blued steel.
The eight day Swiss movement is of fine quality with a lever escapement and a captive winder and hand setting button on the back, which is signed for the retailers Nathan & Co, Birmingham.
